Chelsea to allow one of Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois to leave this summer amid Real Madrid interest

Chelsea have made a firm decision on the future of Eden Hazard at the club amid reports Real Madrid are preparing a bid for him this summer but may allow Thibaut Courtois to leave as they loathe to see him leave for free in the coming transfer windows.

The Los Blancos are said to be very interested in signing the Belgium forward this summer, but the Blues plan on rejecting whatever amount of money brought on the negotiation table for their brilliant forward. Belgium marched on to the semi final of the World Cup thanks to the efforts of the likes of Eden Hazard and other stars who played some of their best football in the last few weeks.

Hazard was the captain of Belgium as the country won it’s first bronze medal at a World Cup. He showed the world what he is capable of in some of the top games in the tournament including Belgium’s emphatic 2-1 win over Brazil in the quarter final.

Now the Guardian reports, that Real Madrid’s chase of Hazard, as reported by the Daily Star, will not be tolerated by the Chelsea board who aim to keep their superstar at the club and give him a contract worth £300,000 a week, to extend his current deal that runs until 2020.

Courtois’ contract with Chelsea expires next year, and with the goalkeeper hinting he may have his heart on the move to Madrid, the Guardian’s reports says the Blues may let him leave this summer when they can take as much money for him, instead of let him leave for free next summer.
