Barcelona have made a new bid for Willian, raising their offer to around €55m.
That was confirmed by Sky Sports in their latest Tweet, which you can see below.
The Catalan club’s interest has been reported for some time, but and it appears it’s serious this time.
Perhaps they want to help their new star Philippe Coutinho out by bringing in some familiar faces from the national team?

It seems Ernesto Valverde is really keen on securing the Chelsea man, who has been a regular since arriving from Shakhtar.
He clearly values the Brazilian’s work rate and attacking abilities, as seen in this summer’s World Cup in Russia.
Chelsea fans are divided over his sale, with some claiming it’s a good offer for a player approaching 30, and others saying we’d be mad to sell a first team option who has been consistent over the last 5 or so years.
One would imagine he wants to go: most people do when the Blaugrana come calling.
