Man United make clear what Chelsea need to pay for Anthony Martial this summer

Chelsea have been told how much they need to pay for Manchester United’s Anthony Martial if they want to sign him this summer.

The Man United winger is reportedly ready to leave Old Trafford after a three-year stint at the club. Following a promising first year at the club under Louis Van Gaal when he scored 17 goals, Martial has stunted in his growth under Jose Mourinho and become a fringe players in the squad.

The Frenchman featured mostly on the bench at Man United, playing second fiddle to Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford at times. Alexis Sanchez’s arrival at the club in January, cemented Martial’s role as a substitute and not a regular starter.

Chelsea have been rumored to be in the race for his signature this summer, along with Juventus and Paris Saint Germain but the Sun Sport are reporting that Man United have quoted £100m for Martial’s game.

That will be a significant profit for the Red Devils after they signed the winger for £36m, a fee that rises to £58m.
