Chelsea title winning midfielder close to leaving Blues this week after progress in transfer talks

Chelsea are set to lose one of their budding young players this week after it emerged that Fernabache are interested in signing him up on a loan deal.

Having been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge last week, Chelsea midfielder Marco Van Ginkel will continue his career away from his parent club one more season. According to Takvim in Turkey, Fenerbache sporting director David Comolli is working on bringing in the central attacking midfielder to the Turkish side this week.

Van Ginkel is not considered a ready first team star and has been spending seasons across Europe at other clubs. His latest was at PSV Eindhoven where he helped them win the Dutch Eredevisie title.

According to the report by Takvim, Van Ginkel will spend the entire next season with Fernabache is the loan deal is confirmed.

He scored 14 goals for PSV as the Dutch giants secured the top flight title.
