Chelsea could seal deal for highly rated Italian star if Blues allow most expensive player to leave for free this summer

Chelsea could be set to seal a deal to bring in AC Milan star Gianluigi Donnarumma after reports in Italy suggests Milan are ready for a swap deal to land Alvaro Morata this summer.

The Blues are on alert for a goalkeeper with the future of Thibaut Courtois very uncertain, after the Belgium goalkeeper maintains he will not pen a new deal, amid talks of Real Madrid interest. That has made the Blues very unsettled and are willing to find replacements according to Sky Sports.

Atletico Madrid’s Jan Oblak and AS Roma’s Alisson Becker have been penned as targets for the Blues, and that’s according to Metro Sport but Donnarumma is an attractive target as he is only 19 years and has a very promising future plus bags of experience at teh top level.

Milan are also lacking in attack and with Morata struggling in first season in England, Milan are considering a swap deal according to Corriere dello Sport.

Morata scored 11 goals for Chelsea in the Premier League and two more in other competitions as he struggled to take command of the striking position after the arrival fo Olivier Giroud in January.
