Chelsea propose deal to Aston Villa for Jack Grealish that will beta off competition from top rivals

Chelsea are reportedly keen to sign Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish and have made a proposal they believe will beat off competition from other Premier League clubs.

The Blues are willing to spend £30million on the England U-21 star and bring him to Stamford Bridge, a fee very close to the asking price Villa are after.

As per TeamTalk, Villa are said to be only ready to listen to offers in the region of £40 million but it appears no Premier League side will be ready to pay that amount for a Championship player. Chelsea will pay £30 million plus add the bonus in the package to send him back on loan to Villa for one year, in a bid to win the race for him.

The proposal might also sit well with Grealish who is reportedly keen to remain at Villa park for another 12 months to further his development.

Chelsea’s chase of the 22-year old is well thought out as he adds to the English contingent at the club and appears to be one of England’s most promising players.
