Chelsea’s loan army is so big these days that it’s easy to forget some of the players involved, even when they’ve been at the club for 6 years.
That’s the case with Kenneth Omeruo, who plenty of Blues fans wouldn’t be able to pick out of a lineup despite his many years of loyal service to the loan army.
The closest he got to home was a spell at Boro, but apart from that he’s been off in Turkey doing his thing.
He return to the front lines yesterday though with a great showing for Nigeria against Iceland, and he had plenty of Chelsea fans talking about his potential on Twitter, having kept the Scandi attack quiet all game.
It might be too late for him to break through at Chelsea, but there’s always the potential for him to earn a better loan this summer with more good showings like this one.
