Revealed: The one Chelsea star who could decide the next coach after Antonio Conte

Chelsea are willing to sack Antonio Conte and replace him this summer and a few things stand in the way, as the process of hiring a new manager drags on, but according to the Telegraph, Eden Hazard will be the decisive factor in whoever comes in as manager.

The report by Matt Law says that Chelsea are almost set to kick out Conte who has had a miserable season this campaign with almost every possible target lost or in danger – the only remaining being the FA Cup.

An Independent report revealed that the Blues decided to go in for Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri or former Barcelona manager Luis Enrique because they wanted to employ an attacking brand of football and that according to the Telegraph may convince Hazard who is reportedly on the radar of Real Madrid.

The Belgian forward is said to be ready to quit Stamford Bridge for La Liga if Los Blancos come calling next summer as per Sport in Spain, but with no bid officially tabled, Chelsea will try to tie him down to a new deal worth £300,000-a-week.

The one reason Hazard has not signed the contract is his ‘strained relationship’ with Conte this season and Chelsea want to use the attacking football promise by the next manager to convince Hazard to stay.

They will have to part ways with £9 million if they have to sack Conte but it is an amount Roman Abramovich is ready to spend to return Chelsea to the summit of English football.
