Danny Rose becoming available just as Chelsea fill their left back needs

Everton have been linked with a move for Tottenham’s left back Danny Rose.

As you can see in the Tweet below citing rumours in the Daily Mirror, Manchester United had previously been considered top contenders for the left back, but the £37m demands of Spurs for the transfer have put them off.

Chelsea had previously been linked with Rose, but our signings of Marcos Alonso and then Emerson Palmieri have seems to have pushed us back in the race.

Rose has lost his place at Spurs to Ben Davies after agitating about his contract, and it perhaps wouldn’t be a big surprise to see him go this summer.

We will find out whether Rose is able to regain his form elsewhere, and we will find out whether Chelsea made the right move in not buying their current options in that part of defence rather than holding out for Rose to become available this summer.
