Why Alvaro Morata should copy what Hernan Crespo did, not listen to what he says

Former Chelsea striker Hernan Crespo has been speaking to Nizaar Kinsella on Goal.com, and has insisted that he thinks Alvaro Morata should stay in London for next season and fight for his place.

Crespo himself had an odd career at Chelsea, putting in some exceptional performances and scoring some great goals, but never really earning the trust of his managers and being sent out on loan back to Italy various times before finally leaving permanently.

Perhaps we will see a similar arrangement with Morata, next summer if not this one. A loan to Italy where we know he is comfortable and would like to live again could help him recapture his form, but at the same time Chelsea wouldn’t have to take an embarrassing hit on the club record fee they paid for him last summer.

So despite Crespo’s advice, maybe Morata should do as he did, not what as he said?
