Chelsea fans have proven unforgiving this season when results go bad and Antonio Conte had been right at the center of receiving the backlash that follows them. After Sunday’s final day loss to Newcastle United that cemented Chelsea’s position in the league table, fans poured their frustrations on the Italian again.
The Blues will now have to contend with no Champions League football for another year after suffering a humiliating 3-0 defeat at the St James’ Park. Their performance was nothing to write home about and traveling fans were left shocked at how their side failed to win in a game that could have seen them qualify for top four had Liverpool lost against Brighton.
Many Chelsea fans on social media pointed at the former Juventus manager for the failings of Chelsea this season with some even asking he is sacked before the FA Cup final against Manchester United next weekend.
