Chelsea player could be on the way out after double-goalscoring performance

Newcastle have been linked with a move for Chelsea’s on loan wide man Kenedy.

The Brazilian provided backup for Marcos Alonso in the first part of the season, but once Emerson Palmieri was signed he was allowed to leave in January.

He has since slotted straight into the Newcastle team, who were seriously lacking quality in forward areas.

There he looks like a star, and he capped that off with a double goalscoring performance at the weekend.

It’s no surprise then that the Magpies want him long term, and Chelsea will probably be ok with letting him go.

It all depends on what the new manager wants, but it appears that the former Fluminense man won’t have the talent to break into a front 3 at Stamford Bridge – especially if they go out and sign more quality this summer.

Newcastle may prove to be a great spot for him, and while the weather may not appeal to a Brazilian, their love of football certainly will.
