Chelsea joined by PSG in vital signing chase

Chelsea have been joined by Paris Saint Germain in the chase for former Barcelona manager Luis Enrique as reported by the Daily Star.

The Spanish manager is one of the most coveted trainers on the market, and will definitely not be short on offers next summer. He has been heavily linked with Chelsea as the Blues inch close to replacing Antonio Conte, who only won the Premier League title last season.

Enrique’s task at Chelsea would be to restore the winning attitude in the players and get them playing an attractive brand of football, better than Conte has led the Blues to play this season. The reason the next manager decision will be the most important next summer is that the club will need to go out and buy players according to the wishes of the new boss. But all that concern will be in the latter part of the summer and when the season starts for Enrique in a new country, if he signs.

Before putting pen to paper, Enrique will be in a big dilemma to choose between Chelsea’s Premier League enticement or the nouveau riche PSG, whose biggest dream now is winning the Champions League.
