Eden Hazard’s representative speaking with Real Madrid as forward seeks fresh challenge

Chelsea’s Eden Hazard has been in contact with Florentino Perez, Real Madrid President to push through his wish for a summer transfer with a fresh challenge all the forward wants, according to Don Balon.

The Chelsea forward has been on Zinedine Zidane’s transfer list since the summer transfer window and with the Frenchman under fire at the Bernabeu after leading the team to an unsuccessful campaign, Hazard could be pursued strongly next summer.

Real’s president Perez, who makes the key decisions over transfers, is eyeing Inter Milan Mauro Icardi and Tottenham striker Harry Kane to bolster the team’s attack, following the profligacy of Karim Benzema this season.

Hazard is reportedly eager to switch to Real Madrid and has alerted Perez his desire to be part of his team. His representatives revealed he wants to move whether Zidane is or not coach next season, which wasn’t the case some months back.

The Belgium International seeks a new start and challenges after his five-and-a-half years stay with the Blues and also believes he is very capable in winning the Ballon d’Or playing for Real.

Although the Belgian is working on a contract extension with Chelsea as his current contracts ends in 2020,  it is reported that the Blues have shown interest in winger Marco Asensio while the Bernabeu bosses are also willing to exchange the winger for Hazard.
