Chelsea are considering Raheem Sterling as a target replacement for Belgian Star Eden Hazard should he decide to switch to Real Madrid this summer as the Chelsea forward has been on Real’s top list all season, per the report by the Daily Star.
Sterling has 14 league goals to his name, and has been in great form this season despite many not to believing in his capabilities at top level in the past. Chelsea are eyeing the signature of the Manchester City star if their team’s no.1 striker Eden Hazard chooses to exit Stamford Bridge.
Sterling has won favor in manager Pep Guardiola’s side as he inches closer to his first league title in English football.
Man City are leading the Premier League chase with with 69 points from 26 games, as Manchester Untied troll behind with 56 points in second place.
Hazard is wanted seriously by Real Madrid next summer and should he heed to their call, the Blues will head in the direction of Sterling to replace the Belgium international forward.
