Antonio Conte has voiced his appreciation over the support he has received in recent times from Chelsea fans, despite a large number of supporters calling for his head on social media.
The usual at Chelsea has been that the manager will sacked in difficult times as this, and Antonio Conte knows he is hanging on by a thread at the club.
Conte has spearheaded the demise of the club this season. After the mighty rise to the title last season, Chelsea have only been reduced to fourth position on the table with Liverpool leapfrogging Chelsea to third and Man United maintaining their position on second.
Clearly, Antonio Conte is not a man on social media, had he been, these words would not have escaped his mouth on Friday in his pre-match press conference.
Conte on Chelsea fan support: "I have to tell thanks to the fans because from the start of my experience with Chelsea, they try to stay behind me in every game. They continue to do this. I am very happy and proud" #CFC

His job may be safe for now and Chelsea are unlikely to trigger the firing gun anytime soon, except performances and results get worse in the upcoming crucial cup games.
