Chelsea have been short of one vital ingredient in their recipe to fight well in the Premier League title race. They have suffered crucial defeats that have cost them their title hopes and Antonio Conte reveals confidence has been the main issue for his stars.
The Blues have been terrible on the pitch and looked a pale shadow of themselves, especially the form that saw them win the Premier League title last season.
This campaign, Conte’s charges have been inconsistent in all competitions and have been outwitted by smaller teams.
When asked about Chelsea’s poor form, Conte says his players are short on confidence.

That confidence will need to be reinstated somehow, after the two latest defeats. They 3-0 and 4-1 losses will feel like a dagger in the hearts of the players and technical team and Conte, being the leader, must find a way to get them full of confidence again.
