Chelsea’s new signing Ross Barkley has been given a rough return date by his manager Antonio Conte.
Asked about when the midfielder would be fit, Conte once again said that he was fit and working hard towards playing for his new club. While the Italian ruled him out for tomorrow’s game against Leicester, he did say that he “hoped” he would be fit to face Norwich in the FA Cup replay coming up later this month.
Antonio Conte reports that Ross Barkley is working hard in training and he may be available for the midweek cup game versus Norwich.

It’s a boost for Chelsea fans who have seen their team struggling creatively in recent weeks – not least in the first game against the Championship side.
Barkley hasn’t played for 7 months, and will probably need to ease himself in, maybe off the bench or maybe starting with an hour on the pitch, but with Chelsea looking stale and stagnant at the moment it’s the perfect time for the England international to return and challenge for a spot in Conte’s first XI.
