The Chile international is one of Antonio Conte’s top targets this season with the Blues preparing to make this window a significant period in a disappointing season.

W Radio Colombia’s journalist revealed in a tweet, that the former Juventus midfielder has been subject to a bid from Chelsea who want to seal a deal ahead of the summer window.

In Sierra’s tweet, he confirms Chelsea have opened the negotiations with a €37 million for the 30-year-old but Bayern are holding out for a €60 million fee which is far apart Chelsea’s estimation of him. It will be interesting to know what comes of this story as Blues fans will hope the negotiations do no drag on too long.

His arrival at Chelsea will also prove a huge statement by the club’s top brass who intend to give Conte the targets he needs to work with and be happy to stay beyond this season.
