Chelsea fans get used to new order in Arsenal rivalry

There was one point a few years ago when it looked impossible, but it’s happened. Arsenal have the upper hand in their rivalry with Chelsea for the first time in years.

Both of Jose Mourinho’s spells at the club were marked by amazing results against Arsenal, and all the managers who were in charge between the Portuguese’s reigns were able to keep that going.

Even Scolari knew how to beat the Gunners.

But Antonio Conte just can’t seem to get the better of Arsene Wenger. After failing to beat them at home earlier in the season in the Premier League, the Blues couldn’t get the job once again yesterday.

That follows a defeat in the Community Shield, in last season’s FA Cup final and the infamous 3-0 at the Emirates in this fixture last season.

The wheel turns and it was always going to happen one day, but it’s a strange feeling for Blues fans to know that Arsenal have had the better of their results over the last couple of years.
