Antonio Conte has taken the chance to praise yesterday’s matchwinner Marcos Alonso.
The Spaniard sneaked in a free kick with the last kick of the first half to give his team the lead, and they Blues were able to hold on to that slender advantage for the rest of the game.
There were plenty of chances created, but they weren’t able to add another to their total, so in the end it was Alonso who won the game. Conte called him a “specialist” at the art of set piece playing.
