Victor Moses superb performance shows Chelsea what they’ve been missing

Victor Moses showed exactly what Chelsea have been missing in his performance yesterday.

The Nigerian missed 9 games in the hectic period since he was injured against Crystal Palace, and while the Blues have got some good results in that period, they haven’t had the same threat down the right.

Restored to the starting lineup yesterday, Moses reminded everyone of his quality from early on. He ended up delivering the wicked ball across for Alvaro Morata to head home the second goal, and he then used his pace to get on the end of Cesc Fabregas’ clever pass to win the penalty for the third.

There were some fears after he looked very rusty coming on for a few minutes in midweek. But thankfully it looks like he’s already found his feet, and one of Chelsea’s most dangerous weapons is back operational for the Christmas fixture frenzy.
