Chelsea wing-back could sign for Premier League rivals in January

Chelsea’s young defender Dujon Sterling could be moving to Premier League rivals Bournemouth on loan this January.

This is according to The Sun, who believe that the Cherries boss Eddie Howe is preparing an offer for the 18-year-old academy star, who is yet to move away on loan from the West London side.

Sterling occupies plenty of potential in him, and a loan move to a Premier League side would be crucial for him. Getting such transfer already at the age of 18 would be brilliant for his development, and Bournemouth would certainly be a great option for him. We all remember how Nathan Ake moved on loan to Carrow Road last term, and got recalled back to Chelsea in the middle of the campaign following his superb form under Howe. He didn’t really have the space in the league champions’ team though, so he wanted to move back to Bournemouth who eventually paid a club record fee for the Dutchman’s signature.

If the history really repeats itself even slightly, Sterling should definitely make the move if  the opportunity comes.
