Chelsea cruised to a win against Newcastle this afternoon, and in the process one of their defenders equalled a record for this season in the Premier League.
Cesar Azpilicueta had only just been setting records for consecutive starts – 74 until midweek when he was finally rested, and today he was the pass master in Blue, equalling the season high for passes from a player in the division this season.
