Fresh from beating Chelsea for West Ham at the weekend, goalkeeper Adrian has decided to rub salt in the wound by dismissing their chances against Barcelona in the last 16 of the Champions League.
Speaking on El Transistor, the flagship Spanish radio show that covers football across Europe, Adrian seemed pretty certain that the team from his home country would have no trouble beating Antonio Conte’s side.

He called the Catalan club “clear favourites”, and pointed out that it would be very difficult for the Blues to hold off their attacking firepower for 90 minutes.
They are certainly a potent attacking force, and they have not only the best player of all time up front for them, they’ve got summer signing Ousmane Dembele returning to full fitness shortly too.
But despite all that, any Chelsea fan who’s been around for more than a few years will remember being written off against Barca before… and we all remember how that turned out.
