Antonio Conte tells Eden Hazard what to do to become the best player in the world

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has some advise for his best player in his current squad Eden Hazard, on how to become the very best in the world and it includes work and trophy wins.

The Belgian forward has been one of the best players in England since he arrived in 2012 from Ligue 1 side Lille, but has been overshadowed by the more frequent goalscorers in the top flight.

He is however more than the goals though. Hazard is a complete forward who is not afraid to go past players and create opportunities for others in his side. His assists and chance creation numbers have been as impressive as his successful take-ons.

But Conte believes, for Hazard to become a top player in the world, he needs to improve his end product and lead club and country to major trophy victories.

“I don’t think Eden is in the peak of his career. He has a lot of (room for) improvement.

He is a young player and it’s important for him to work, work, work in training sessions to improve himself and then to have this type of performance.

You are at the top when you win the Ballon d’Or, when you win the Champions League, when you win the World Cup or European Championships. In that moment you are at the top, otherwise you are a great player, but only a great player.”

Hazard scored a brace against Newcastle United last weekend to take his tally this season to five goals in eight Premier League starts.
