Alex Sandro makes decision on future club between Chelsea and Man United

Last summer’s hit transfer target Alex Sandro has reportedly made a decision on his preferred destination, as the Brazilian looks more and more likely to leave Juventus.

Chelsea have been chasing the 26-year-old since last summer, but their efforts on capturing the left wing-back were shot down by Juventus’ huge £80 million valuation of the player.

But due to a lot of difficulties between the club and Sandro, the former FC Porto defender could be on the move much cheaper come January’s transfer window, as he has already turned down the chance to extend his contract with Juve.

And according to The Sun, Sandro would prefer to join Chelsea over Manchester United, who are also showing big interest in the player.

Sandro’s recent performances haven’t been too near to his superb displays from last term, and he’s been dropped from Juventus’ matchday squads more than once following reported bust-ups with manager Maximiliano Allegri and other members of the staff. Despite that, he’s recorded three assists and a goal in nine Serie A appearances.

It’s clear that Sandro wants to go, and it’s up for Chelsea to table the offer and sign him up should we really want to bring him in.
