Chelsea could finally sign Brazilian winger as Premier League club table offer

Chelsea’s long-term transfer target Hulk has received an offer from an unnamed Premier League this week.

Since the Brazilian international didn’t name the club, Chelsea are seen as one of the biggest favourites to have potentially made the offer. That’s simply because of the history between the club and the player, as the Blues have been linked with a move for Hulk since his time at FC Porto, who he played for before moving to Zenit St. Petersburg and then to China.

According to the player he admires the league very much, but also admits that he’s actually a fan of Arsenal, who are also reportedly keen on the player.

I received one contact from the Premier League and quite a few others from other countries. I admire the Premier League very much and it’s considered not by accident the best league in the world.

I always follow the league and I have always supported Arsenal.

Of course I follow it but I am happy here. I have almost three more years on my contract so I am happy here. But one never knows in football, everything can happen and my agent receives contact from Europe, including from the UK.

With Diego Costa leaving Chelsea permanently this January and Blues winger Willian’s future being questioned highly, Antonio Conte could have been the one making the offer.

Hulk, 31 years old, currently plays in the Chinese Super League side Shanghai SIPG – the very same club who former Blue Oscar also left Stamford Bridge for just a year ago.

Could Chelsea be on the brink of finally signing their long-term target, or will he move somewhere else across the country?
