Conte not thinking about Chelsea until Euro 2016 with Italy is over

Incoming Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has told he has full focus on this summer’s Euro 2016 with Italy’s national side, Goal reports.

The 46-year-old was announced as José Mourinho’s long-term successor, as he looks to take over at Stamford Bridge after his current spell as the Azzurri’s head coach ends.

Those who know me well are very well aware that I handle one thing at a time, I try to face them in the best possible way

The Euro is the end of a two-year journey.

The former Juventus boss believes that he and his collagues need to have their full attention on the competition to return from France successful.

I want to face this tournament in the best way possible, while knowing the difficulties that we didn’t expect to have.

I always talk about work – we need to work with our head down and give all we have to do something beautiful.

Despite the Leece-born manager denying his interest to contribute with Chelsea until European Championship is over, he has already played a part to seal a contract extension for John Terry.
