Chelsea are once again travelling to the United States for the International Champions Cup pre season tournament ahead of the 2016/17 Premier League season it was revealed today at a press conference in New York.
Chelsea begin by facing Liverpool on Wednesday 27th July in Los Angles, before heading to Minneapolis exactly a week later to play AC Milan before playing Real Madrid on Saturday 30th July at a venue not yet revealed as of today. All games will be shown live on Chelsea TV.
The teams competing in the International Champions Cup 2016 are; Chelsea, AC Milan, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Celtic, Inter Milan, Leicester City, Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck says, “It gives us great pleasure to know we will be testing ourselves at the highest level this summer and I am sure the squad will benefit from the excellent facilities available to us across the United States”
Tickets will become available from the end of March and start of April for the games against Liverpool and Milan while Real Madrid game will go on sale at a later date. Highlights of all matches will be available online after the matches in the United States.
