The Premier League’s all-time highest ever goal scorer, Alan Shearer has tipped Diego Costa to win the battle for the golden boot this season.
26 year old Costa currently stands joint top with 19 goals in the Premier League this season. Tottenham’s Harry Kane is level with him. Sergio Aguero is a further two behind.
Alan Shearer has an amazing record of 260 goals in the Premier League and he believes Costa has what it takes to win the golden boot. Shearer also praised Diego’s style of play.
If I was really forced to choose one I’d have to go for Costa. I love his battling qualities as well as his ability to score goals and so I’d love to have him in my team.
