Video – Chelsea fans stop black man boarding Paris train

It has not been confirmed whether or not the incident took place before or after the game, but the amateur footage clearly shows Chelsea fans involved in racist attack on the tube in Paris.

The video shows the black man, a commuter trying to board the train, at Richelieu Drouot station in the French Capital.

The Chelsea fans, in mass, are seen chanting “Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea,” before the commuter is tried to board the train but is pushed away by the agressive fans.

Despite a few attempt to board the carriage, the black man then gives up and the Chelsea fans chant: ” We’re racist, we’re racist and that’s the way we like it.”

The fans are believed to have been attending the game at the Parc des Princes, yesterday night which ended in a 1-1 draw between the two teams.

The Chelsea Football Club has released the following statement regarded the reported incident and is keen to take strong actions against those involved in the incident:

“Such behaviour is abhorrent and has no place in football or society.”

We will support any criminal action against those involved in such behavior, and should evidence point to the involvement of Chelsea season ticket holders or members the club will take the strongest possible action against them including banning orders.

Joseph Blatter, the president of Fifa, took on to Twitter to condemn the incident

Chelsea will play PSG at Stamford Bridge for the second leg, on March 11th.
