Chelsea to sign summer duo

Chelsea are gearing up to sign Koke and Paulo Dyabla in the summer, according to reports, with an offer being made for the latter already.

According to the Palermo star’s representative, Gustavo Mascardi, the Blues have made an offer for the 21 year-old forward, who is currently one of Europe’s hottest prospects.

Mascardi told Gazzetta dello Sport that Chelsea’s bid had already been trumped by Paris St Germain, who have allegedly tabled a £32.5 offer.

The bid, which has not been confirmed by either clubs, is believed to be in the region of £29m; Chelsea, however, face stiff competition from Europe’s elite, including Premier League interest from Arsenal and Liverpool.

The Argentine, who joined Serie A side Palermo in 2012, has had a hand in 23 goals in 30 appearances for the club this season – scoring 13 and assisting 10.

News also broke last night that Chelsea have made contact with Atletico Madrid regarding the signing of Koke this summer.

The Blues have reportedly been interested in securing the midfielder’s services for a while, but Atletico have slammed a heavy price tag on the Spaniard, which the Mirror believe to be in the region of £50m.

Koke has been a feature in much of Atletico’s success, and has been with the La Liga side since 2000, where he began his youth career.

The 23 year-old has 9 assist in La Liga this season, and would be an astute signing should Mourinho choose to offload Oscar this summer, with interest in the Brazilian heightening.
