Chelsea 1-1 Burnley – Player Ratings

Courtois 6/10 – Made some great saves but I feel he was not correctly positioned for the Burnley equaliser.

Ivanovic 8/10 – Great goal and is on a fine scoring spree

Zouma 6/10 – His great pace allows him to recover from potentially catastrophic errors, but still needs to polish up on his tackles. His ability to read the game will only improve. When he reads plays like John Terry and improves his tackling just a bit more he is undoubtedly going to be the best centre back in the world. I see this happening over the next 2 years.

Terry 7/10 – Led from the back and did well to come and prevent Matic from getting into further trouble with the FA.

Filipe Luis 6/10 – Worked very hard, but I was not too impressed with his overlapping in this game.

Matic 7/10 – Matic is only human and made a human reaction to a potentially leg breaking challenge.

Fabregas 6/10 – Didn’t create as many opportunities and still looked to be suffering from a lack of fitness.

Cuadrado 6/10 – Still needs to adapt to the physicality of the EPL.

Oscar 6/10 – Failed to find the gaps in a very organised Burnly defence

Hazard 7/10 – Not as influential as usual, but was brilliant for the goal.

Diego Costa 6/10 – Not as decisive as I hoped for such an encounter.

Subs

Ramires 7/10 – The man is in good form and was surprised he did not start came close to giving us a late winner.

Willian 6/10 – Not enough time to shine.

Drogba 6/10 – Did not have enough time or opportunities to get us a winner.
