West Ham and Nottingham Forest named as front runners for raw Chelsea forward

It’s “loan destination szn” and we’re seeing all of Chelsea’s talented youngsters being touted around to try and find a good destination for them to develop next season.

After a good debut Premier League season with Southampton, Armand Broja is top of that list, and there are more reports today that newly promoted Nottingham Forest along with West Ham are leading the way to sign him up for the season.

Any team who takes him on loan will be keen to get an option to make it a permanent deal, a very risky move for Chelsea.

Many people have noted the similarity in Broja’s playing style to Diego Costa, and that really applies to more than just his surprising speed and aggression.

Like Costa, Broja still looks a little raw, meaning he could take until his mid 20s until we see his full potential.

Chelsea need to make sure they still own him when that happens.
