There are very strong rumours online tonight about a £30m bid from West Ham for Armando Broja, with the Sun claiming he will be the Hammers’ top target.
The forward has just followed a sparking loan at Vitesse with an impressive debut Premier League season at Southampton, and Chelsea are apparently ready to cash in to the tune of £30m.
That will be a divisive move if it happens – there are plenty of fans who would like to see the Albania international given a chance in Thomas Tuchel’s first team squad.
Now that it looks like Romelu Lukaku is going to move on, it seems even more important to keep attacking talent at the club, but clearly the six Premier League goals he got last season weren’t enough to convince those upstairs at the club that he’s the right man to become the consistent goalscorer Chelsea desperately need up top.
