“Raging” Sarri is “fuming” about this club decision which may cost him his first trophy

Lots of football fans turn their noses up at the Europa League, but when you’ve not won a trophy in your career and you find yourself in a European Final, it’s understandable you are taking things very seriously.

That’s the situation that Maurizio Sarri finds himself in now, with the final against Arsenal just a week away.

He has a lot of decisions to make, including the question of who to play in midfield. He lost his most dynamic attacking threat in to injury last week when Ruben Loftus-Cheek limped off against New England in the mid-season friendly in Boston that has reportedly left our coach incensed.

The Sun say he is “raging” about the decision to play on artificial turf in this seemingly excessive fixtures, and that the Italian is “still fuming” about the injury which has ruled out RLC potentially for a year.

We feel the same Maurizio, if it’s any comfort.
