Predicted XI: Maurizio Sarri set to play an almost perfect team to please Chelsea fans

Chelsea fans have not been happy about Maurizio Sarri’s lineups for most of this season, but tonight against Brighton they might just get the team they want.

Things are really falling into place for Sarri to play a super popular lineup. Two of his stars were rested at the weekend, and he’s already revealed that fan favourite Callum Hudson-Odoi would get his first top flight start.

It all starts at the back, where regulars Kepa, David Luiz, Antonio Rudiger and Cesar Azpilicueta will be joined by Emerson, who replaces the injured Marcos Alonso.

In the middle, N’Golo Kante returns from injury, while Mateo Kovacic may play if Jorginho is rested after playing an international and then at the weekend. The third slot will hopefully be Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

The front line has Callum Hudson-Odoi, starting his first Premier League game. On the other side Eden Hazard returns from injury, while Olivier Giroud may get a nod ahead of the struggling Gonzalo Higuain.

This team would really set Twitter alight. Let’s see what happens.
