Eden Hazard single handedly took Chelsea a step closer to the Champions League last night with a brace of superb goals at see off West Ham.
The first was a thing of sheer beauty. With the team struggling to make concrete openings, the Belgian picked up the ball in a position of little danger, slalomed through the Hammers’ entire team and pushed the ball into the bottom corner.
We’ve watched it back 40 times already, and it’s still bringing us joy through pure aesthetics.
But if you’re one of those types who prefers to enjoy a game through stats alone, you can see his impressive numbers from last night collected in some stats here, as well as some of the swooning reaction to the showing from the Chelsea attacker.
Take-ons, shots, key passes, duels. You name it, he dominated it.
