Chelsea player reveals amazing seven year fitness plan

David Luiz has been speaking to the Evening Standard about how he keeps going at the top level as a footballer at the age of almost 32.

The Brazilian has racked up a ton on top flight showings through his career, including 26 of 28 games in the Premier League this season.

How has he kept himself as fresh and young as he was when he arrived? According to him, it’s thank to a trainer passed on to him by some of the players who were already in the dressing room when he arrived.

“I’ve had someone working with me since three weeks before the (2012) Champions League final in Munich and he still works with me now,” Luiz revealed in the rather in depth interview.

“We have to invest in our bodies and to have someone looking after me. I work with Chelsea, but also at home with him,” he went on.

“He is someone who worked with Didier (Drogba), (Florent) Malouda and (Salomon) Kalou.”

It’s clearly working out for him, he’s really in great shape considering his age. He could recommend it to a few more people.
