Spanish report says Roman Abramovich has declared to Luis Enrique who will be Chelsea manager next season

Chelsea are currently a team without a boss, despite having Antonio Conte in charge, the narrative is that he is on his way out and is almost a goner.

That has prompted several media outlets to publish stories about other managers coming to Chelsea to replace the Italian. In fact, there have been reasons to believe this is true after Napoli president Aurellio De Laurentiis appointed Carlo Ancellotti as new manager, leaving Maurizio Sarri to be contacted by any suitor willing to pay his release clause.

Chelsea have proven stubborn in paying that amount although recent reports indicate they may be willing to do so to tie up the deal for the attack-minded coach.

But Don Balon comes out with a different story. They claim Roman Abramovich is willing to give Conte another season to prove himself after winning the Premier League title and the FA Cup in his two years at the club.

According to the Spanish publication, Enrique was told this in one of several meetings while in negotiations with the Premier League club to take over as coach.
