Newcastle are chasing three Chelsea players who they want to take on loan next season.
The success off Kenedy, who joined the Magpies in January and helped them to a really strong finish in the Premier League, has clearly given them a taste for bringing in our young talents.
Unsurprisingly then, according to reports in places like the Chronicle, Kenedy is again their top target. But if they don’t manage to get him, there are other Blues that have their attention.
It’s no surprise to see Ruben Loftus-Cheek mentioned, after a strong season with Crystal Palace and a potent England debut. He may be wanted back at Chelsea next year though, or by a higher level club.
The third man is Kasey Palmer, who is perhaps the most interesting option.
Palmer was exceptional in the Championship two years ago as he helped Huddersfield to promotion. A mid table Premier League team would be the ideal next step for the attacking midfielder.
