Chelsea could be losing out on yet another target this summer after it was reported that Jean Michael Serri is being targeted by Napoli, and as Sky Sports reports on Thursday, the Italian side have made first contact.
The midfielder is one of the players mostly linked with the Blues this summer and with his heart set on moving to England, it looked almost certain he will move to Stamford Bridge.
But recent developments mean the target could be wearing a different shirt next season. According tot the report by Sky Sports, Franklin Mala, agent of Serri, has said that the Ivory Coast international is “tempted by wearing the jersey”.
That would almost open up the prospect of signing for Carlo Ancelotti’s side with Chelsea’s managerial position yet to be confirmed.
After a proposed deal to Barcelona fell through last summer, Serri has attracted a host of top clubs including Arsenal and Manchester City who are all monitoring his situation.
