Chelsea are hot on the heels of some of their transfer targets this summer despite the uncertainty that clouds the club this summer.
The Blues are off to one of the worst starts to a post season with their managerial role not sorted out and despite Antontio Conte still at post as the manger of the club, the club is still on the hunt for a new leader in the dressing room. Maurizio Sarri and Laurent Blanc have been linked with a move to the club but nothing is firmed up yet.
However, the top brass of the club will not sit around and wait for a list of players to be submitted by the next coach before making moves. They are at it already and Mirror Sport and Get French Football now say the Blues are in ‘advanced talks’ with Nice to sign Jean Michael Serri.

Serri has attracted several big name clubs to him in the last one year including Borrusia Dortmund and the closest linked Barcelona.
The Ivory Coast international is a player capable of stepping into the shoes of Cesc Fabregas as he likes to play alongside defensive midfielders, and provide the attacking quality from midfield with deft touches and slick passing.
