Italian transfer hub Calcio Mercato has a new update on the Alvaro Morata transfer situation.
Morata had a strong start to his time at Chelsea, with a lot of important goals in the opening months of the season. However, later in the season things got worse, and he began to really struggle after Christmas.
By the end of the season, selling him looked a real possibility, and there’s plenty of chatter online that he could be headed back to Italy, where he had great success with Juventus.
The article at CM says that Milan are now sniffing around the former Real man, given the issues they had with their last summer striker signing, Andre Silva.
Perhaps they can be duped into picking up another big name flop?
Whether or not he ends up going we’ll have to see, but certainly the window for his departure seems to be opening wider and wider.
