Chelsea have been linked with a big money move for Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic.
Papers like the Metro have the reports translated into English, which claim that the midfielder is a £70m target for the Blues, who are rivalling Barcelona for his signature.
It’s a lovely idea, but one that looks impossible to pull off.
Firstly, Pjanic is playing in a dominant Juventus side that are winning title after title in Italy, as well as going deep into the Champions League every season.
He’s unlikely to want to give that up, and even if he did, if the option of Barcelona is on the table, he would surely take that option. While they aren’t at their peak, they’re still in the Champions League – unlike Chelsea – and the chance to play with the best of all time must surely be a massive temptation for the Bosnian Pjanic.
