Top-level source in Spain says Morata wants to leave Chelsea, with PSG, Inter and Bayern on list of potential bidders

Alvaro Morata has decided he wants to leave Chelsea, and has interest from several European countries according to El Larguero, the flagship football show on one of Spain’s main radio stations – in fact the very radio station where Morata’s father once was a director.

The forward endured a rough first season in England, and now wants to leave after the club’s failure to reach the Champions League, said presenter Manu Carrera.

The report had plenty of details: for example it added PSG, Inter and Bayern Munich to Juventus and AC Milan on the list of teams potentially interested in him. The Spaniard was pictured in Milan yesterda.

It also claims that several other players are considering their futures given the turmoil at the club, which lacks a director of football and has a manager stuck in limbo.

The issue with any of these moves is that Chelsea paid a huge amount for the former Real Madrid man, and will not want to lose face or lose money on that deal so early. A long term loan deal with the option to buy seems a likely compromise
