Michy Batshuayi’s shocking reaction to Chelsea defeat against Newcastle United

Should Michy Batshuayi be worried of getting replaced as Chelsea's second-choice striker?

Chelsea suffered their 10th loss this season after their disastrous performance against Newcastle United on Sunday and the reaction from Michy Batshuayi shows he’s still got love for his parent club.

Until this weekend, Batshuayi was a player of Borussia Dortmund despite suffering an injury midway through his loan stint at the German club after penning a contract in January.

The Blues were thrashed 3-0 at St James’ Park on Sunday to seal their fate in Europa League football next season as well as confirm their miserable form this season. The built up to the game was all about how they could achieve a miracle by beating Newcastle and qualifying for the Champions League if Brighton deal Liverpool a shock defeat at Anfield.

But the start of the game was nothing convincing and the Magpies pounced on Chelsea mistakes.

On social media, Chelsea fans were left disappointed and angry after the result and Batshuayi was no different. The striker, currently back at Chelsea’s training complex to recover from his ankle injury expressed his disappointment on Twitter.

If you are a Chelsea fan, I bet you were no different.
