Hazard models new home kit to signal stay at Chelsea beyond next summer

Chelsea’s summer may have been boosted after Eden Hazard appeared in the club’s launch of a new home kit on Friday.

The player has often been linked with Real Madrid in recent seasons, as captured in this report by Sky Sports, and he regularly leaves Chelsea cringing before the start of a summer transfer window in fear that he will leave.

His current deal is set to end in 2020, so this summer is do or die for the club in getting him to sign a new contract or to leave for a decent fee.

However, there has been a push by the club to renew his contract to ward off interest from other European forces, as well as keeping Hazard happy with the bumper new deal as per the Sun.

Usually, players do not like to appear in new season advertisements unless they are willing to commit to the club and stay beyond the summer, so with Hazard on Chelsea’s official kit launch, it may provide good news for the club’s fans who want to see the Belgium international at the club for many years to come.
