Chelsea top brass rocked as Antonio Conte decides on a 12-month plan if sacked by Blues

Antonio Conte has decided on what to do in the one year that follows his Chelsea departure, and the new will rock the club’s top hierarchy who can now not avoid playing the hefty compensation.

The Italian manager is now considering taking a break from football, which means he will not take up any job if he leaves the Blues in the coming off season, according to the Telegraph.

Had Conte taken up any job immediately after leaving the Blues, Chelsea would have been saved the £9 million they have to pay him as compensation. But a choice of a break as per the Telegraph report will hand the advantage to the astute Italian.

The former Juventus manager had offers from AC Milan and Napoli as per Calciomercato, to make him manager after his unsuccessful campaign with Chelsea this season. Although he won the FA Cup in what appeared his last game as manager of the five-times Premier League champions, Conte would not be able to save his job as his bosses still ponder their next move.
